     The first time I animated was back in the spring semester of my sophomore year. I was taking Digital Interactive Media and we had just gotten done with Photoshop and were moving onto Flash. We went over the basics, made a small project and then moved on. Even though I hadn’t had much experience with animating I found it interesting and decided to take Animation 1 my junior year. In Animation 1 I learned many different styles of animation and used many different programs, but  my favorite was Flash. At the end of my junior year I decided that I enjoyed animating and so I signed up for Animation II, which I am now in.

     For future projects I would like to do a key framed speed painting again, a short animation with a story, and maybe a short film, but I’m not sure on the last one. I hope to then put any creations I make onto my website and maybe YouTube.  Another project I might want to do Is make a small flash game, though I will wait until I have a better understanding of programming, since I would like to program it myself even if others make the art or other things.

My goal is that by the end of the year I have several creations of my own to show to my friends and family that I am proud of and to remind me of this class when I have graduated.
